Eugene Mafi - To a Tongan father and Caucasian mother, Eugene Mafi
was born in Bellflower and raised in Long Beach, CA. He attended Long
Beach Unified School Distrct schools K-12, and graduated Magna Cum Laude
from California State University Long Beach with a BA degree in English.
He is a former teacher in the Paramount Unified School District, and now
teaches English and Literacy at Wilson HS, Long Beach, and is the NPIEN
secretary has served on the NPIEN Board since 2003. He is pursuing a
Master’s degree at California State University, Long Beach. Pictured
with wife Gabriela and son Malcolm. |
